Limited Quota, TJSL PELNI Program Provides Free Homecoming Tickets for Balikpapan - Makassar Route
Jakarta, March 18, 2024 - PT Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia or PT PELNI (Persero), through its Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Responsibility Program (TJSL), is providing free homecoming tickets for the 2024 / 1445 H Eid al-Fitr Transportation. Considering the limited quota, PELNI hopes that the public can immediately register.
Head of PELNI Corporate Secretariat, Evan Eryanto, stated that the free homecoming provided by TJSL PELNI serves the Balikpapan - Makassar route with departure date on April 5, 2024. "We only provide a quota of 315 seats using the KM Labobar fleet. This activity is part of the 2024 Fun Homecoming Program with SOEs initiated by the Ministry of SOEs of the Republic of Indonesia under the leadership of Minister Erick Thohir," explained Evan.
Registration for the 2024 Fun Homecoming with SOEs by PELNI has been open since March 16 and will be closed on April 3, 2024. The terms and conditions to participate in this program include:
1. Must show personal identification or family card for those under 17 years old.
2. Download the PELNI Mobile application (available on the playstore or appstore).
3. Register at the link bit.ly/MudikBersamaBUMNPELNI2024.
"Registrants who pass the verification will be informed via WhatsApp. Hopefully, the presence of the 2024 Fun Homecoming with SOEs can be an alternative safe and comfortable homecoming for the community," added Evan.
KM Labobar itself is a 3000-type passenger ship with a regular route from Surabaya - Balikpapan - Pantoloan - Bitung - Ternate - Sorong - Manokwari - Nabire - Serui - Jayapura.
To support the safety and security of navigation, KM Labobar is equipped with 3,408 adult life jackets and 212 for children. This German-made ship also has lifeboats with a total capacity of 1,358 pax and 119 rubber boats with a total capacity of 2,975 pax.
