Jakarta, March 12, 2025 – PT Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia or PT PELNI (Persero) officially opened the registration for the Free Eid Ticket Program with PELNI ships on Monday (March 10) online. This Free Eid Ticket program, organized by the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia, offers a total of 9,250 tickets with 28 routes for both the homecoming and return trips.
PELNI's Corporate Secretary, Evan Eryanto, mentioned that, as in previous years, the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia has once again tasked PELNI with carrying out the Free Ticket Program for the 1446 H/2025 Eid transport season. The Ministry of Transportation has provided 9,250 tickets for 24 routes, which are divided between the departure and return phases before and after Eid.
"The government provides free tickets on routes with high passenger volume, with each route prepared for both homecoming and return flows," said Evan. PELNI hopes that the public will make good use of this Free Ticket Program from the Ministry of Transportation.
"We will open registration starting Tuesday (March 11) online. Therefore, we hope that the public or prospective participants of the Free Eid Ticket Program will prepare the required data, especially identification. Please make sure the name of the passenger matches the registered identity," explained Evan.
