PELNI Ship Tickets Now Available for Booking Up to 60 Days Before Departure

Jakarta, September 28, 2026 — PT Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia, also known as PT PELNI (Persero), continues to enhance its ticket booking services to provide greater flexibility for customers in planning their journeys. Currently, PELNI passenger ship tickets can be booked up to 60 days before departure (D-60).

A total of 16 PELNI passenger ships are now available for booking 60 days before departure. These ships include KM Gunung Dempo, KM Dobonsolo, KM Nggapulu, KM Labobar, KM Sinabung, KM Bukit Siguntang, KM Kelimutu, KM Tatamailau, KM Tilongkabila, KM Awu, KM Bukit Raya, KM Siraimau, KM Binaiya, KM Leuser, KM Sangiang, and KM Wilis.

PELNI Corporate Secretary Ditto Pappilanda stated that the extension of the ticket booking period is part of PELNI’s efforts to improve the customer experience by providing services that are increasingly adaptive to the needs of the public.

“The implementation of the 60-day advance ticket booking period is being carried out gradually. It began on September 18, 2026, for eight ships, namely KM Gunung Dempo, KM Nggapulu, KM Sinabung, KM Bukit Siguntang, KM Kelimutu, KM Tilongkabila, KM Binaiya, and KM Sangiang. Since September 25, 2026, we have expanded the implementation to eight additional ships,” said Ditto.

Ditto added that with a longer booking period, customers can plan their journeys more carefully according to their individual needs and schedules. Previously, PELNI ship tickets could be booked 30–45 days before departure.

Tickets can be purchased through PELNI Mobile, the official PELNI website, and authorized sales partners. Customers are encouraged to purchase tickets through PELNI’s official channels to ensure transaction security and obtain reliable travel information.

The extension of the ticket booking period is part of PELNI’s efforts to provide an increasingly convenient and integrated travel experience. PELNI also continues to strengthen its digital services to make every stage of the customer journey easier, from travel planning to the execution of the trip.

“PELNI continuously evaluates its service processes by taking into consideration customer needs and experiences. We hope that every service enhancement will provide greater convenience and certainty for customers at every stage of their journey,” added Ditto.

Information regarding ship schedules, routes, ticket availability, travel requirements, and official sales channels can be obtained through PELNI Mobile, the official PELNI website, or Contact Center 162.

“We encourage customers to check schedules, routes, and ticket availability through PELNI Mobile. PELNI also reminds the public to purchase tickets only through official channels to ensure safe and convenient transactions,” concluded Ditto.
