KM Dobonsolo Transports Second Wave of Free Homecoming for Motorcycles

Jakarta, April 7, 2024 -- PT Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia or PT PELNI (Persero) has again dispatched KM Dobonsolo for Free Homecoming for Motorcycles by Ship. The travelers departed from Tanjung Priok Port, Sunday (7/4) at 16.00 WIB and will arrive at Tanjung Emas Port, Semarang, Monday (8/4) tomorrow at around 09.00 WIB.

Head of PELNI Corporate Secretariat Evan Eryanto said that in the second wave of free homecoming for motorcycles, the ship transported 2,384 motorcycle travelers and 947 motorcycles.

"Alhamdulillah, this last departure went smoothly. We hope that all homecoming participants in the 2024 Free Motorcycle Homecoming program can arrive healthy and safe in their destination cities," he explained.

From the two departures of the Free Motorcycle Homecoming by Ship, the Company recorded that it had transported a total of 4,421 motorcycle travelers and 1,823 motorcycle units.

KM Dobonsolo will be ready to serve the return flow of the Free Motorcycle Homecoming by Ship program. Two departures were recorded, namely on April 13 and 15, 2024.

"We invite motorcycle travelers to enjoy this facility again so that they can save energy and minimize the risk on the trip between Jakarta and Semarang if taken by land," he said.
