Strengthening Corporate Integrity, PELNI Holds Anti-Corruption Socialization and Technical Guidance
Jakarta, May 28, 2025 – PT Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia or PT PELNI (Persero) held a “Socialization and Technical Guidance on Empowering the Business Sector Against Corruption” as a form of the company’s commitment to implementing good corporate governance (GCG) in Jakarta on Friday (May 23). This event is also part of PELNI's efforts to support the prevention and eradication of corruption in accordance with Law Number 19 of 2019 concerning the Eradication of Corruption Crimes.
The event was attended by Acting Deputy for Prevention & Monitoring of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Aminudin, Head of Task Force V of the KPK Anti-Corruption Directorate Rosana Fransisca, and KPK Task Force Team members Jeji Azizi, Jeffry, and Nurmalita Sukma.
Also in attendance were members of the Board of Directors of PT PELNI (Persero), including Director of Finance, Risk Management and Information Technology Anik Hidayati; Director of Human Resources and General Affairs Heri Purnomo; Director of Passenger Transportation Business Nuraini Dessy; Director of Freight and Sea Toll Business Kokok Susanto; and Director of Fleet and Engineering Robert MP Sinaga.
This event was attended offline by the directors of PELNI’s subsidiaries, vice presidents, branch heads, and head office managers, while the Secretary of the Board of Commissioners, head office, and branch employees joined online.
PELNI’s Director of Finance, Risk Management & Information Technology Anik Hidayati stated that the purpose of this event is to implement the company’s core values (AKHLAK), foster integrity among PELNI personnel, reject all forms of corruption, and provide a solid understanding of anti-corruption legal foundations.
“We realize that building an anti-corruption system is not a short-term goal, but a continuous process that requires consistency. It’s not enough to merely formulate policies—it must grow into a deeply rooted culture that is practiced in the daily life of the organization,” Anik said in her remarks.
PELNI has implemented several initiatives, including the development of six soft structure guidelines (Board Manual, GCG, Code of Conduct, Gratification, and Whistleblowing System), receiving a “Very Good” GCG score of 87.136 from BPKP, achieving 100% compliance in the 2024 LHKPN report, integrating five ISO standards, utilizing the KPK’s Gratification Online (GOL) application, and providing a reporting channel for violations through the Whistleblowing System (WBS).
“We hope that through close synergy with the KPK and the collaborative spirit of all PELNI personnel, we can continue to move forward in line with PELNI’s vision of becoming a leading and globally competitive shipping company based on good governance,” Anik added.
PELNI is committed to maintaining public trust by instilling integrity and an anti-corruption culture, supporting the company's vision to contribute to Indonesia’s maritime connectivity and logistics growth.
